Dr. Ken Bacon

Cat-and-Exotic-Hospital-9-30-09_-365_webDr. Ken Bacon, an animal lover since childhood, was encouraged by his relatives to seek a career in the veterinary field early in his teens. An interest in unusual animals sent him to facilities as diverse as the NC Zoological Park in Asheboro, NC to practices in North Carolina, Tennessee, Colorado, and Oregon. The lure of the west brought Dr. Bacon to California shortly after graduation, and he has never left Marin County since (except for the occasional vacation). He continues to have a special interest in feline care, avian and exotic animal medicine, and dentistry.

Thank you for all your hard work. The officers and the club thank you. We feel so lucky to have gotten you as one of the veterinarians attending our lunch event. The students had a terrific time at your table. You helped the students get organized, motivated, and above all, interested in avian/exotic animal medicine, which is no small feat. The whole club thanks you. We come across some amazing veterinarians in our time and we noticed the greatest veterinarians don't just diagnose or research. They inspire us.
