Thank you so much for saving Pan – Pan’s life. We are so very grateful! As you know, he is a remarkable cat. His love for people, his “great attitude: (a quote from Dr. Bacon) along with his amazing life time of adventures have given him quite a following of admirers that we call “Pan’s Friend.” He is quite a character and a lucky, lucky boy.

After he ran way on July 5th, we thought we would never see him again. He was gone for 9 terrible days. Our beloved neighborhood in Terra Linda rallied behind us, calling us, e-mailing us, caring so much about the fate of some scrappy, old, arthritic cat they had never met. When he was finally found we had to put up “Found” sign because out neighbors were so concerned. We were amazed at the outpouring of love.

Since Panny’s “walk about”, we have made dozens of new friends in our area. We still get stopped on the street my “Pan’s Friends” inquiring about how he is doing. I am adding his latest near death experience to the story. He was so sick (probably caught something from a coyote he befriended on his little walkabout because Pan – Pan loves dogs) he almost died. You all did so much to keep him alive and find out what was happening in his tiny body. Thanks for dealing with all the messes and treatments. You saved our newest little neighborhood mascot.

Apparently, Pan-Pan decided that since moving here in November, we did not socialize with our new neighbors enough and he was going to do something about it. Somehow, he survived 9 hot days without food or water regularly available. With the maze of 6 foot fences in our area it is almost impossible to navigate around, especially if you are only 11” tall. We know that he made it because of his every expanding network of friends. Since his latest adventure, you guys are at the top of that list. Thanks for all you do at Central Marin Cat & Exotic Hospital!

I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to Dr. Lankes, Dr. Bacon and your wonderful, friendly, helpful, cheerleading staff! You have all been so helpful each and every time I have come in with Khai.

During the first few weeks of Khai’s recovery treatment neither you nor any of your staff ever lost faith that Khai would improve…and improve he has! He is hardly the same cat which I brought in a mere six weeks ago! To see how happy he has become because he no longer feels terrible brings joy every day.

Thank you again for improving the quality of Khai’s life and never losing faith in him- even when some days I’ve lost faith. You are all the best and we are so grateful to have found you!
